Pros

Great pay and benefits were progressive.

Cons

Bully culture and old-school, top-down management teams were in place. I experienced it firsthand from senior leadership across the company.

Constant time was spent identifying areas of innovation and new business ideas, but nothing came from it.

Advice to Management

Take a hard look at the management teams in place and the culture they support. Abuse of power and bully culture are very prevalent in the senior Mgmt and HR leadership ranks. Also examine the reward structures that provide incentives for managers to maintain the status quo versus being innovative.
