Figma reached out to me regarding some new roles opening up.
I followed up and scheduled a call with a recruiter. The recruiter didn't show up for the interview on time, so I reached out, and they joined five minutes late. It was a fairly standard recruiter screen, asking about previous experience and sharing some information about the role and process. The recruiter gave the impression I was a good fit and explicitly said they would reach out with next steps. However, I was completely ghosted after this, with no follow-up whatsoever (even after chasing).
All I can conclude from this is that either:
I'm honestly not sure which is worse.
Standard screening questions, e.g., previous experience.
