Process

Worst interview experience I've had as a candidate.

I came for an on-site technical interview with a team leader and a developer. They were approximately 10 minutes late.

We started the interview in a meeting room located beside their cafeteria. Because there was a lot of noise from people in the cafeteria, we moved to another, extremely dark room.

The interviewers were friendly, but they weren't experienced. They kept stepping on each other's toes, asked unrelated questions, and it wasn't clear who was leading the interview.

Until the end of the interview, they didn't say anything about the company itself, its product, or their group's product. I had to try to get any related information from them.

The worst thing was that the recruiter was ghosting me. I think providing an answer or feedback is the minimum required from a recruiter. Very disrespectful.

Questions

  1. Describe the system of a big project you were involved in at your current company.

  2. Design and implement a system for their blockchain transactions product.

  3. Implement a rate-limiter system.
