Full Stack Developer Interview Experience - Israel

April 1, 2020
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

Duration: 3 hours Interviewer: Rude and ignorant.

Phase 1: Little information about the company was provided. The interviewer then asked about my tech stack and how my regular file tree looks. After I showed him a project, he kept asking about small configuration settings that I didn't remember.

Phase 2: A vanilla coding challenge, which was somewhat simple but stressful. You had 3 goals to accomplish within 1 hour. If you're familiar with vanilla JS, it will be relatively simple.

Phase 3: A challenge to write the denounce design pattern in JS.

Phase 4: A coding challenge. Given a list of numbers and a target number, find if there is a pair of numbers whose sum equals the target number.

Phase 5: Time to ask questions about the company.

Overall bad experience, intense and overwhelming.
