1. The company is not R&D centric. Not enough attention is given to education and other extracurricular activities, and there is pressure to deliver.

Consider giving senior developers more opportunities to delegate easy tasks by hiring more juniors and focusing on what allows them to grow. Give engineers growth opportunities beyond management.
