Process

The initial screening test was conducted on HackerRank. It was a 1-hour test consisting of 3 questions: 2 were based on data structures and algorithms, and 1 was based on design. Only Java was allowed.

Next, a round was conducted by the Indian Engineering team. It included introductory questions, followed by questions related to Java, the Software Development Lifecycle, and previous projects and internships. Then, there were programming problems based on data structures and algorithms. This round was conducted on HackerRank Codepair, requiring working code to solve the problems completely.

Next, a round was conducted by the U.S. Engineering team. It also included introductory questions, followed by programming questions related to data structures and algorithms on HackerRank Codepair. The difficulty of these questions ranged from medium to medium-high, and production-level working code was required.

Following that, a round was conducted by the U.S. Management team on Google Hangouts. This was primarily a "get to know each other" round, consisting mostly of non-technical questions to assess behavioral and personal skills.

The next round was conducted by the Indian Management team and was an HR round. Normal questions related to background and personality were asked; it was more of a soft-skills round.

The final round was the offer discussion. The Indian Corporate VP presented the offer (basic salary + flexible allowances + stock options + signup bonus) and other benefits, followed by a discussion on company policies and working guidelines.

The overall process was very efficient. All rounds were completed within 2 weeks, and the management was very supportive. There were no unwanted delays in results or processing between rounds.

Questions
