There was a screening round with a TA partner. The discussion related to the job, and the interviewer asked basic questions about qualifications, work status, and experience.
After that, there was another interview with the hiring manager. It was a deeper dive into the role and more about my experience. There were behavioral questions, such as how to handle difficult situations and discuss my most significant achievement.
Following this, there was a technical assessment. It involved a medium LeetCode/HackerRank question. I had to write the code in C. I mentioned my approach to the interviewer, and he seemed fine with it. The challenge was a little complex; I could not complete all the cases, and my test cases did not pass. I was able to solve it with all test cases after the interview and followed up with the interviewer.
The recruiter replied, stating the position had been filled two weeks prior (even before my technical assessment). I still cannot understand why they continued the process if the position was already filled.
However, the interview process was smooth, and all interviewers were nice.
What is your most significant achievement?
