I applied online and received a call from a recruiter.
First, there was a recruiter screening where I had to answer questions like:
Once the screening was done, a 1-hour coding interview was scheduled.
I was rejected in this round itself.
I was asked a heaps-related question. I was expected to write executable code and check if all test cases passed. My approach was correct, and all the test cases passed. However, the interviewer expected me to write the exact solution from geeksforgeeks.com, which I later realized after the interview.
If cleared, you would move to the final round of interviews, which is 2-3 hours and includes design, coding, and a manager round.
I wish they had some experienced people for the interview who could understand the approach and solution, instead of blindly comparing the solution to one from a website.
A very easy array and heap-related question.
What is its time complexity?
