I applied and got a phone screen. The employee I spoke to was incredibly kind. However, the interview was entirely centered on a coding challenge about currency exchange rates.

I felt that the interviewer led me astray, asking me to create a class to represent nodes and then recursively loop through the nodes to calculate the solution. The interview problem felt unnecessarily hard, and I felt it gave no testament to my development abilities.

I have never once had to run a BFS search as a data engineer.
