I was interviewed for a Senior QA position (Manual Testing). There were two technical rounds, both scheduled through a consultancy.

Both rounds were not overly difficult and mainly revolved around coming up with test cases and discussing tools used in the past. They were primarily looking for test coverage, specifically whether the main functionalities were covered.

If main functionalities were missed in favor of cosmetic ones, they hinted at returning to functional test cases, asking questions like, "Wouldn't you want to test this?"

1. Which Google products have you used?

2. Can you come up with test cases to test any one of them?

3. What front-end and back-end technologies were used in your current project?

4. How will you test the performance of that product?

5. How will you troubleshoot when something doesn't work to determine what went wrong?

6. What is the bug life cycle used in your company?

7. Which bug tracking tool did you use in your previous company?

8. Have you used any shopping apps? Can you provide test cases for testing the search feature in a shopping app?
