Three interviews were scheduled in total for the day.
The first round was a machine coding round, taken by an SDE 2 who seemed to be in a hurry. Every 10 minutes, they kept interrupting to ask if I was done, even though the round was supposed to be completed within 90 minutes. This was due to the interviewer's apparent haste.
The question itself was relatively easy. The interviewer asked me to draw a UML diagram. When I inquired which specific UML diagram they wanted, they responded, "A class diagram is a UML diagram." 🤣🤣 This clearly indicated the level of an SDE 2 within the organization.
The PS/DS round was fairly easy. The interviewer seemed confused; they didn't know how to iterate over maps and questioned why iterating over maps would take O(n) time (if there are n keys).
After the second round, I had to wait for 1.5 hours for the engineering manager to arrive. Apparently, they were busy (as if the interviewee's time comes for free).
The managerial round was purely behavioral, with questions solely related to current work and no technicalities regarding it.
The PS/DS round had one matrix question, one tree question, and one DP question. All were easy level on LeetCode.
