Software Development Engineer (SDE) Interview Experience - Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh
Process
Flipkart came to my college for the on-campus internship drive.
First, they had a Coding Round, followed by two Technical Rounds and one HR Round.
The Coding Round was simple, with 3 problems based on BFS and DP.
The Technical Rounds were okay and depended on your preparation and the interviewer.
These Technical Rounds were conducted by SDE2s and were done using AMCAT software.
Questions
In the Coding Round, the question was about a simple BFS implementation.
The question asked how to find the Lowest Common Ancestor (LCA) in a Binary Tree.
In a 2D binary array, find a rectangle/square in an O(n*m) algorithm, where the rectangle is represented by 1s at its vertices.
Find the number of monotonically increasing or decreasing subsequences in the given array.
A problem very similar to the Rotten Egg problem, solved using BFS.
In the HR Round, general questions were asked about past experiences and projects.
