Employee benefits.
A cool company culture, open to ideas. Gives ample ownership and you can surround yourself with some pretty smart people. A good learning experience and a chance for good career progression, depending upon your reporting manager. You can switch teams internally if you are not satisfied or want to work on other/more challenging projects. Freedom to work at your own pace and learn at your own pace. You can move easily between Myntra, PhonePe, and other Flipkart companies in case an opportunity comes up.
Very slow in catching up to the market standards in compensation. Poor pay when compared with other startups, MNCs, and FAANGs.
No benefits like in other companies, such as free food, cab allowance, or WFH setup allowance. They compensate for this with better insurance, but still, in comparison, definitely improve the benefits standards here.
We should seriously think about the high attrition rate and take corrective measures for employee dissatisfaction. Benefits and compensation, etc., should be based on an apple-to-apple comparison. If Flipkart wants the best talent to work for them, they should also provide the same opportunities and compensation/pay benefits as other top talent-attracting companies like FAANGs.
The interview process took around a week, but it was an overall good experience. For experienced Mobile Developers, there are four rounds, and all rounds are eliminatory. Even after clearing all rounds, the HR process is a bit slow.
I went for the F2F (Face-to-Face) round at Flipkart's Bangalore office after an online HackerRank round. There were supposed to be four rounds of interview, so I had planned for five to six hours. I reached there at 10 am. The process was very slow;
The process might start with a telephonic interview, followed by onsite rounds. Interview standards are high. They look for hands-on engineering skills. Focus on Data Structures and problem-solving. Be good at design. Prepare for a day-long grilling
