Pros

Work-life

If your aim is to have a good work-life balance, at a decent pay, and not put in much effort, it's an ideal org. The work environment is generally low-stress, and there's no pressure to put in extra hours beyond what's expected. If you are efficient enough, you can get away by only working for a couple of hours a day. WFO is not enforced as well.

A few great teammates

There are a few senior team members in every team who are quite helpful. Sadly, they might often be burdened with requests from other fellow senior and junior team members.

Cons

Bloated teams

The engineering teams are larger than necessary and often filled with individuals whose skills don’t always meet high technical standards. If you're looking for a place to challenge yourself technically and continuously improve, this might not be the best environment. The nature of the tasks assigned doesn’t always encourage deep problem-solving or innovation, which can hinder long-term skill development.

DEI done very wrong

Although about 40% of my colleagues were female, it's really sad to see how low the bar has been set. You'll often have to pick up slack from them and "help the team." After shadowing around 10 SDE-1 interviews, both male and female candidates, the difference in benchmark is drastic.
