C++ Software Engineer Interview Experience - Amsterdam

October 1, 2017
Positive ExperienceNo Offer

Process

Starts with an HR call asking about motivation to join Flow Traders, then a HackerRank online test consisting of a few C++ questions and a few algorithmic problems. After a few days, another online HackerRank CodePair session occurs where one of the Flow Traders developers will give a coding challenge, and the interviewee needs to provide a working solution.

Later, they will invite for an onsite interview consisting of:

  1. Cultural fit interview round
  2. Technical interview
  3. Lunch with the development team
  4. Final interview with HR.

Funny, they still ask motivation questions. Who would apply without motivation to work?
