I applied online and received an invitation for a HackerRank test. It wasn’t easy and included a lot of material that felt like rote memorization.
The first round was with HR. They asked how well I knew the company and about my motivation. Honestly, it wasn’t pleasant. I felt stressed when they asked things like, “Are you reading from your screen?” I wasn’t; I had just shifted my eyes from my face to theirs on the screen. They also asked about my other job applications.
The second interview was technical. They gave me a simple coding challenge and asked basic questions about Linux and Docker. The interviewer was easygoing, and I really enjoyed this round, but only this round.
The third interview made me feel the company culture just wasn’t for me. Everyone seemed tired and strict, and all they seemed to care about was work. I felt like I was being judged the entire time.
