Pros: My work is interesting, my supervisor/manager are great, and work-life balance is supported! I like my coworkers, and the cost of living is reasonable in the area. As a woman engineer, I feel like I am a valued member of every team I've been on. I am given meaningful assignments and am supported.

Cons: Upper management seems to be constantly reorging and rolling out new "ways of working" that don't get rolled through middle management well. Diversity at the top of the house is limited. Connections between departments aren't great.

Pros: It's very slow and comfortable. When it gets busy, it's terrible, but that's just sometimes.

Cons: No guarantees. I got laid off and rehired under a worse contract. They lied on the job description and in the interview, and the job is much more boring than they advertised it to be. Being a contract employee means you get treated like a lesser being, I swear.
