Process

I guess they call for an onsite interview only if they see a good fit for the role. The onsite interview is more of a group panel interview with three technical heads. In my case, I wasn't given an offer as I needed H1B sponsorship. This was a big letdown on the HR part for inviting me for the onsite interview without looking at my visa requirements.

Pros: Great company to work for, with a VERY flexible work environment and lot of well-educated engineers. It's a huge company with many resources, meaning you can spend 20 years there without running out of things to learn.

Cons: It's really hard to get up the ladder with all the competition, especially since engineers rarely leave this place. So don't expect to be the next Chief Engineer in 5 years.

Cons: It's really hard to get up the ladder with all the competition, especially since engineers rarely leave this place. So don't expect to be the next Chief Engineer in 5 years.
