That's about the only pro this job has to offer. Seriously.
This is a non-union salaried position. Which at Ford means you don't get the same bonus, benefits, or holidays (all worse).
This also means you aren't allowed to "controls engineer" because you can't actually DO anything as non-union. So, in reality, you end up occupying a chair for 60+ hours a week and take the blame whenever the so-called skilled trades mess something up.
No need to comment on the culture; of course it's going to be toxic in this type of environment.
