Excellent work-life balance. Management is really trying to do the best for their employees based on their wants and needs.
Lack of transparency. There are policies, training, and information that might apply to you personally that the company keeps hidden from the general salary role; it's only available to management. Sometimes, even the lower levels of management might not be aware of policies, etc., that might benefit you. Employees don't have the option of searching for certain information themselves, and they have to rely on the knowledge of their management – good or bad.
If you want the GSR level of employees to feel like a part of the company, you should include them in the access to policies that apply to them, and training that would be useful to them.
Also, you should be more proactive in trying to keep valued employees before they decide they need to leave, instead of waiting until they have other offers. Competitive wages may apply to starting and average salaries, but not to each individual.
Keeping an employee happy is cheaper than preventing an employee from leaving.
