The only pros to working at the Chicago Assembly plant are benefits and pay. However, lots of overtime is mandatory.
Turnover for salaried positions is very high. It's a very stressful and demanding plant. Salaried engineers are not treated very well and are expected to solve every problem that is unrelated to their jobs.
Treat your employees with respect, stop micromanaging, and honor the "work/life balance" that Ford claims to have.
