Learned the basic role of a process engineer for the manufacturing plant.
Great people - engineers are friendly and answer any of your questions.
Definitely a good first internship experience.
Co-op not really structured with planned projects. You mostly complete random tasks or help the other engineers complete their work. You might only have one or two projects that are mostly your own. Most days were spent playing on my phone.
The interview process was well-structured and fast-paced. There were two interviewers asking questions. They were straight to the point, so answers needed to be concise. They took notes throughout the whole process.
Met with four engineering managers who had a set list of standard interview questions. They were wanting to hire eight people within the month, and I was only the fourth to apply, so it was a pretty easy interview.
Interview was mainly behavioral questions, followed by a less formal plant tour by another quality engineer. I was interviewed by three people, all of whom were supervisors for the position.
