Great people in hourly and salary.

Felt like our assignments were not focused on improving quality, but to manipulate or document data to prove the department was already effective. 70% of the job was aggressively defending the department when the manager was overreacting to constructive criticism.

Advice to Management

Increase transparency and standardize performance metrics so that they are actually indicative of effectiveness. Managers spent the majority of their time covering their tails, fudging KPIs, and publicly blaming their employees for not being able to anticipate this week’s corporate criticisms.
