Weird management culture
Senior Software Engineer • Former Employee

Pros: Great technology and company vision. The company and its finances are strong and well-positioned for future growth.
Co-workers are very good and essentially willing to help, but management is an issue (see below).
Cons: Mgmt in EMEA/INTL is very French and has no real focus. Lots of internal politics and unwillingness to interoperate between regions and teams.

Found this company to be below average with no proper software process
Staff Engineer • Current Employee
Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Pros: It looks like all the talented people have already left the company. The existing Meru managers/former employees do not know anything about the product. If you know the domain, you can rule here.
There are flexible working hours, but there is a lot of pressure on new joinees because existing people do not know the product.
Cons: Managers put all the burden on the engineer and simply relax, looking for scapegoats, least bothered about the software process.
Maintaining the existing product, with no encouragement for new talent.

Good company with growth
Principal Solutions Architect • Current Employee
October 3, 2023
Pros: Solid company with good growth in market segments. Lots of resources are available for employees. Work-life balance and compensation have been good.
Cons: The company can seem very large. You can feel isolated if you are part of the remote workforce. Some positions offer little room or opportunity for growth.
