I have over 13 years of experience and have been through many interviews in the past. I can say by far this was the best interview process. This was not because the interview was easy or because I got selected, but because the interview had a human element to it. I asked for two weeks' time to attend the technical round as I was busy moving to Canada from my home country. Both the recruiter and the technical panel were fine with it, as they understood what it takes to leave your home country and move to an all-new place.
This was an interview where words mattered more than certifications on paper. Though I did not have any certifications, what the technical panel assessed was my knowledge of the technologies and if I fit the requirement.
A big thank you to the Fortinet management for fostering the right culture and values in the organization, and especially to the recruiting team, as they are the face of the organization, at least during initial interaction.
I was asked questions in all the technologies I have put on my resume and the ones that the open position demanded.
