The hiring process was split into three parts:
The interview process was good, and the people who interviewed me were awesome!
I received a very good offer, but due to some terms in the offer letter, I didn't accept it. All my excitement evaporated on seeing unnecessary terms in the offer. The offer had asymmetric expectations: the notice requirements were the minimums permitted by law for the company, but set higher for me. Though not a huge problem, it shows the nature of the company's human resource policies.
After I informed HR that I wouldn't be accepting the offer, I got a response from one of the recruitment leads stating that I would not be considered at Fortinet in the future because I took too much time to decide and should have informed them sooner (than 3 working days).
In hindsight, this aspect of the company is one of the reasons I didn't accept the offer, despite being tempted.
