Since joining Fortinet at the end of June, I’ve been genuinely impressed by the company’s professionalism and strong engineering culture. Teams collaborate efficiently, communication is clear, and execution is highly disciplined.
What I appreciate most is my manager’s truth-seeking attitude. Whenever an issue arises, he focuses on identifying the real root cause and finding the right long-term solution, rather than covering up problems or chasing superficial results. This level of integrity and technical rigor is very different from some of my past experiences, where management was more concerned with presenting good outcomes than addressing underlying risks or code quality.
My manager and colleagues demonstrate deep expertise and strong leadership, and I’ve already gained valuable hands-on experience in systems, networking, and security. The environment truly encourages continuous learning and high-quality engineering work.
I’m proud to be part of Fortinet and look forward to growing together with the team.
Not too clear so far.
The process ran for 3 weeks. I enjoyed the talk with the hiring manager and other team members; everyone is technical and very kind. I felt I was talking with friends. Finally, it is very hard for me to choose another opportunity which was asked by
Had an OA. It was pretty easy. They started with an AI/ML position but transitioned it to Tableau after my OA, as they filled up the position. They asked me questions related to SQL, which I was not prepared for at all.
The entire interview process is made up of an online assessment and two separate rounds of interview. The first round was on-site, while the second round was online. Each interview lasts for 45 minutes. Almost everyone is friendly and professional
