Good Benefits, Toxic Turnaround
It was a stable company with good benefits and reasonable expectations of their employees.
The company is undergoing a complete turnaround, which is creating a toxic environment. There are no or low pay increases, while more and more work hours are demanded to keep a job.
Paring the company to the bare bones means something has to give. It appears even after working to fulfill or even exceed stated expectations, associates are still disposable. After watching my colleagues being laid off, I'm very concerned for my job security and will not wait to determine my value on the open market.
