Pros: Work from home. No attendance compulsory. Excellent leave policy. Compliance and integrity. Employee Safety Concern.

Cons: Being a big organization, you might have to start with simple support roles in projects.

Pros: - Great people - International - Interesting technical challenges

Cons: - average salary - grunt work happens

Pros: The resources of a large company like GE provide plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. Learning is available from senior engineers, online corporate materials, and courses provided by the company, as well as sponsored education from formal institutions. The products are concrete, and basics of engineering are necessary every day. The technology is relatively simple, and lots of opportunities exist to apply advanced engineering and make improvements.

Cons: The size of the company makes communication between departments slow and lackluster. Years of corporate culture changes and thick layers of management have created an abundance of process and bureaucracy. This can cause a steeper than necessary learning curve and slow down learning and progress.
