Process
I was first contacted by a GE Corp. recruiter (HR) who arranged interviews with the hiring panel. All face-to-face interviews went well, but when I followed up with the initial HR recruiter at GE Corp., she refused to take my calls or acknowledge any communication with me. I felt that the interviews went well; however, obviously due to the lack of response, I was not going to get an offer. But at least I felt that I should have gotten a reply to my follow-up inquiries about the position. I had taken time away from my current employer to go for these 4-hour interviews, so at least General Electric could have acknowledged my efforts.

Why did you major in Management in university?
We treat the interviewing process like "dating." You get to meet each other and see if there is any chemistry. Don't you agree with this?

The “tollgates” need to be better matched to the actual risk proposition, or the small company needs to be left outside the fold.
