Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Bengaluru, India

Process

The interview process is very time-consuming, and you will never know the end result. I went through two rounds of technical interviews at GE Transport, Whitefield office. It took almost more than 5 hours just to complete these two rounds.

After that, HR asked me to wait for the managerial round as the manager was very busy that day. After waiting for another 2 hours, one person came and told me that the manager was not available, so I should leave for the day and they would update me later. By that time, it was almost 5:30 pm.

After a few days, when I called HR to get an update, she said, "We are still taking interviews, and we will update you after one week."

Trust me, I answered almost all the questions, but it seems they are not willing to take any candidates. Don't go and waste your time; it's better to go for another company's interview.

Questions

Core Java conceptual questions. Not just theoretical questions. You may be asked to write a few collection questions.

Then, they will test your Hibernate and Spring concepts and will ask you to write a few codes and configurations for the same.
