Senior Software Engineer Interview Experience - Bengaluru, Karnataka

Process

Do not waste your time; they will ghost you after all the rounds. HRs do not have the courtesy to inform you that you are not selected. On multiple follow-ups, they replied by saying, "We need an immediate joiner within 5 days." The irony is they themselves took a month to complete the whole process, but they want people to join in the blink of an eye. The process is lengthy. I gave 5 rounds:

  • 1 technical
  • 1 techno-managerial
  • 2 director rounds
  • 1 HR

Questions

Technical:

  • What are the Java 8 features?
  • How to handle out of memory?
  • What do you check in a code review?
  • What test tools are used for monitoring code coverage?
  • Can you write PL/SQL?
  • How do you handle a DB sequence?
  • Commands used in Dockerfile?
  • Binary search implementation.
  • Any caches have you used?
  • Angular apply vs. callback function.
  • Write code using Executor Service.

Code: Remove all trailing zeros from mid and append in last.

Other rounds: Mostly behavioral questions.
