It was a painful but worthy experience
A great place to get some real hands-on industrial experience. The engineering problems are extremely challenging and rewarding. GE is great for new hires to settle down and grow within the company.
Nothing gets done correctly. Instead of sucking it up and solving the problems, they tend to patch a solution and leave the problem for the next unlucky group of engineers.
Stop treating GE like it is a bank.
GE was based on technology.
Treat the engineers with the same respect you treat the business personnel.
