Everyone who works at GE is intelligent. I am impressed by the level of all the engineers and by the work they do.
There is little work-life balance. People often make work their life, and their personal lives suffer. For engineering, the locations are not desirable.
Learn to explore work-life balance.
Also, make sure that the women do not get forgotten—benefits such as daycare would go a long way.
