Money is okay. The work environment has gotten much better over the years in some departments, but others have not improved at all. There are some very talented technical people here, but they spend too much of their time on GE-imposed bureaucracy.
You never know when the winds of layoff will blow your way. GE, as a corporation, is fickle and will remove large chunks of a business overseas at enormous cost. I guess the tax savings are worth it. GE is declining in the healthcare industry and will probably be out of any US-based manufacturing in less than 10 years.

Good, but long. Flew in for a few interviews, did most of the others remotely or over the phone. Nice staff, fairly transparent on what benefits are. Would recommend; good area.
What brings you to our company? Tell me about yourself. The first round is the screening round. I did not get to the second round, so I cannot provide further details.
Video one-way interview with timed response and multiple takes. There is also time to think of an answer. To get to this stage, you first need to pass a test.
