Good company to learn a lot of things, but the problem is your manager
Learned a lot technically. Worked on diverse engineering problems. You get some of the best computational facilities and lab facilities. You work with some of the best minds in the world.
Managers are the boss, even if they know nothing. They can do whatever they like.
ICs are not given any importance. Some managers do nothing, not even bringing any project. The only thing they do is rate you at the end of the year based on their personal relationship with you.
Talent will not get you a promotion or a good hike; how your relationship is with your manager matters the most.
ICs do the real job, not managers. Please listen to them. Also, have a strict assessment of each manager, including their technical capabilities.
