Pros

There are a lot of problems, transparency across the business, and everyone works together to solve a problem. There is a lot of training to understand the business and statistical tools. The leadership is quite mature. It is a good place to learn.

Cons

A lot of overlapping groups are vying for funding. The quality of work is relatively poor. The stress is more on selling half-baked ideas rather than bringing them to completion. It is easy to be immersed in day-to-day problems and thus miss the opportunity to do better work. I am not sure whether the pay scale is competitive.

Advice to Management

Beyond a certain point, people do not see career growth in the company. The pay scale needs to be revised if management is worried about attrition. Stress should be more on the quality of work instead of the volume.
