GE Leaders of Tomorrow is a great way to network with fellow young employees. Travel benefits are good. Flexible work arrangements are available to those with special needs.
Pay is significantly below the industry average (in my opinion) for engineers, with little to no bonuses.
Work is generally focused on maximizing profit on existing technology rather than investing in innovation.
Overtime pay is limited. Employees are encouraged to work casual overtime in office without compensation.
Pay up.
Look to companies like Google, who employ perks that spur imagination and encourage group cohesiveness.
