Interesting, cutting-edge mechanical engineering work. Lots of different types of roles. Relatively easy to move between roles. High-quality managers. Good vacation policy.
Poor health insurance.
Some office spaces are not very modern.
Can be somewhat bureaucratic (it's a big company, after all).

General Electric Interview Experiences
Engineer
Good, but long. Flew in for a few interviews, did most of the others remotely or over the phone. Nice staff, fairly transparent on what benefits are. Would recommend; good area.
Software Engineer
Talked with hiring managers, and they wanted more security+ experience rather than QA automation. Also, they were willing to allow time to get a security clearance. Nice people. Had an interview over Teams with two people, and it was very nice.
Edison Engineering Development Program
Multiple interview sessions, ranging from behavioral to technical questions. Each interview session had a different interviewer. There was also a 5-minute presentation and a group exercise at the end.
