Pros

Many options for plant sites

Cons

They expect 12-hour days every day. They do everything they can to cut corners, prioritizing cost over quality all the time. I have even been told to accept parts that did not meet specifications many times. Their strategies are all short-term: "Get it done fast; we will fix it later." They will not promote you unless you have a lot of GE experience; they do not recognize outside GE experience. It is run much like a cult. You have to drink the Kool-Aid.

Advice to Management

Get your heads out of the GE corporate world and see what the real world is like.
