Pros

The majority of management at GE respects the abilities and vision of the employees at the lowest levels and expects results. This provides incentive to perform beyond expectations.

Cons

GE is a large corporation, so you have to deal with a big corporate mentality from time to time, which can be frustrating.

Advice to Management

Seek input from line-level employees in a division before making decisions on their future. Don't just rely on the words of upper management.
