Contractors don't get the same treatment and are excluded from many of the perks. However, they get paid better than the employees. Also, notice of dismissal can be as little as a day or possibly even hours. Full-time employees get no educational assistance and no pension.
Don't tell contract employees that their contracts have been renewed for six months, then change your mind and dismiss them a month later without giving them more than a day's notice.
