Pros

Lots of exposure, not just in terms of technology, but others as well. Excellent work. Management is listening. Considers talent. You will be at the forefront of things if you are good at what you do. Hikes are performance-based. You will always feel you are a part of something great. One feels empowered. You can simply walk to a leader and speak. There are few leaders who are particularly doing very well.

Cons

Politics. It is everywhere, but I think it should be minimized.

There are people who are not technically sound and just because of experience are sitting above. They should become LEAN.

Management needs to become a bit hands-on rather than just being listeners. That will definitely help.

Advice to Management

Improve the recruitment process. Don't consider lower pay and experience. People with the right attitude should be hired.

The recent focus on software, particularly, is nice. At the same time, there are many similar kinds of projects being run. They should really get the architects and the teams together to have a similar kind of tech stack. And rather than being in silos, teams should feel free to collaborate. I saw there are very few teams doing so, but even then, not so actively.
