Process

There were three rounds.

  • 2 Technical interviews
  • 1 HR interview

Total 21 students were shortlisted.

Round 1: Basic Mechanical Interview. Round 2: FEA/CFD Interview. Round 3: HR interview.

I answered all questions in Round 1, yet I didn't get the chance to appear for the second round.

Poor time management by the company. Interviews for early candidates lasted about half an hour, while those at the end were called to sit together. Everyone answered, but they didn't consider anyone from those groups.

Questions

In round 1, they were told to draw a diagram of a cantilever beam with a point load at the free end. Then, calculate the slope and deflection.
