Process

One of the best interview processes I have been through.

  1. Applied on GM website for the position.
  2. 7-10 days later, got an email from a recruiter for a phone screen.
  3. The phone screen had high-level questions to understand my interest in the position and visa status etc.
  4. Hirevue with 3 questions (video recording with a 3-5 minute timeline; you can re-record your video if you didn’t answer the way you wanted; 3 attempts max are given for each question) related to how brake systems work exactly in a car, what types of brake systems are out there, and what problems the industry is currently facing in braking systems.
  5. After 1 month, got an interview call with a 2-manager panel for a behavioral interview. This lasted 1.5 hours and had 8 questions.
