Process

A few days after I applied, I was emailed by a TA specialist to set up a Zoom call with the hiring manager. The Zoom call was about 30 minutes long. We discussed my previous experience and education; no technical questions were asked. The hiring manager said that he liked everything and would invite me for an interview at the General Motors office in Herzliya. A day later, the TA specialist emailed me again, and we chose a comfortable time for a technical interview on-site.

Questions

The job was about developing computer vision algorithms code for some specific hardware. I was given a notebook to write some code in Python, solving simple computer vision basic problems. The difficulty was to use NumPy features to reach maximum code efficiency and avoid using regular cycles, etc.
