Process

Initially contacted by the HR Talent group for the position. Had previously applied for another position but was not contacted for an interview.

Initial contact on a Monday, interview on a Wednesday, offer on the following Monday.

Interview process was as described by previous posts. A group of 4 interviewees was brought into a room to watch a promotional video about GM. Next, each person was called one by one for an interview.

My interview was with the hiring manager and another manager from a different department to assist. Questions were situational, and you were asked to use the STAR method to answer. The first interview lasted about 45 minutes.

Next, an interview was with the Hiring Manager's manager. The same type of questions and format were used. This interview also lasted about 45 minutes.

The managers were relaxed, which led to a relaxed atmosphere. There were no technical questions asked.
