Pros: Relative low stress work environment (for a controls engineer, at least). Good pay rates and bonuses. Typically close to 40 hours/week. Very, very rarely will you do 60+, like is common for many controls engineer positions.

Cons: Not much, really. People could stand to be a little more ambitious. There are a fair share of people doing the bare minimum just to get by. As long as that doesn't get to you, you will be fine.
