Process

The HireVue automated interview was frustrating. The cognitive tasks don't really indicate important skills or abilities that are strongly relevant to the job you're applying for. I understand that it's a screening, but the more traditional job interview that follows is much nicer. I actually failed the first HireVue session but applied for multiple opportunities at GM, and some of the managers still liked my resume and my recorded interview responses enough to give me a shot at a Skype interview.
