After applying, the GM recruiter contacted me by calling and emailing at the same time.
I responded to their email, as I don't answer unknown or unexpected calls.
I gave him my available times, but did not hear back from him when he planned on calling.
It seems they don't usually give you a heads-up, which only leads to missed calls and frustration.
Finally, we touched base and had the usual phone interview. Be prepared to walk through your resume and have a good answer for why you want the job, etc.
